SLCC 2011 reflection summary

SLCC 2011 weekend is over for another year and I have to say I loved watching the coverage through the ustream SLCC channels. SLCC 2012 will be hosted in Boston either the first or second weekend in August.

This year I throught that everything was better organized and that there was a nice selection of presentations like Mesh, Future of Second Life, Destination Guide  Guide and social media etc. The attendance inworld was around 15 – 50+ at any given time during the weekend and i’m sure at Oakland there was a good attendance number. Those attendance numbers would be nice to see and then compare that with previous years of SLCC.

It was nice to listen to Lindens/Residents speak about Second Life and their experiences with the platform. When viewing the SLCC channels I saw many friends there at SLCC 2011. There was live updates from the SL community via Twitter which I found interesting to follow during the weekend. The builders that built the SLCC regions I think did a really good job this year ensuring that everything was ready on time.

Well done to all of the volunteers, speakers, organisers, Avacon and everyone else that made this year a great success.  Here are recorded videos and impressive pictures from SLCC 2011 can be found in the links below:
