Bay City in Second Life will be celebrating their 16th anniversary on 19th May 2024. It’s been officially confirmed that there will be the annual parade, lineup of performers and much more.

Background History
Bay City was first announced by Blue Linden in the Second Life official blog on 22nd February 2008. Created by a set of resident builders known as “moles” within the Linden Department of Public Works. The Bay City regions opened for initial viewing on 8th May 2008 with loads of auctions on many Bay City parcels.
The Bay City Fairgrounds was added in January 2010 and since then had hosted a range of amazing events for the Second Life community. The Bay City centre was added in 2010 for those that loved exploring. This was the meeting point for regular Bay City meetings.
The integration of the Teen Second Life Bay City regions landmass merged with the main grid Bay City regions in February 2011.
