Bellisseria 5th Anniversary Celebrations Continue

The Bellisseria 5th anniversary celebrations are way underway now over at the SSPBA regions. Everyone is welcome to join and spread the word. The Bellisseria 5th anniversary is sponsored by a committee of residents. The lab and the LDPW have helped with the anniversary in terms of the location of it and some of the prizes. The Bellisseria Planning Committee is hosting this event including all the scheduling and notices etc.

Bellisseria 5th anniversary celebrations started on 2nd April through until 30th April 2024 including live music, prizes, anniversary gifts, tours, hunts and much more at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds. Well done to everyone involved in making this anniversary celebration happen and keeping Bellisseria active/more awesome.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years since the Bellisseria continent first appeared on the grid and the lab announcing the second generation of Linden Homes in Second Life via the Second Life blog. It’s amazing how big the super giant Bellisseria continent has become in five years with a variety of lovely Linden home themes. Bellisseria has connected with former Second Life continents making travelling between them more easily.

Well done to all the Moles and Lindens who have worked so hard over the past five years to make Bellisseria possible and continues to be still going strong. It’s been great to track Bellisseria developments and growth since mid April 2019.

• The first 80 SSP regions appeared on the grid way before the grand opening of the Bellisseria continent back on 20th August 2018.

• Bellisseria continent today is supermassive on 5th April 2024

Linden Lab Announces SL21B Applications Now Open For Exhibitors

On 4th April 2024 Linden Lab officially announces that SL21B applications are now open for exhibitors in Second Life. The opening of SL21B starts on 21st June through until 21st July celebrating 21 years of Second Life. This is a month long birthday celebration including the annual live music events, live performances, shopping and loads of community exhibits.

The theme for SL21B is Elements and the lab mentions this in the blog post “this theme invites us to explore the fundamental components that make up our vast virtual landscape and the diverse communities within it. From the fiery passion of creators and artists to the fluid adaptability of our social environments, from the solid bonds within our communities to the fresh breezes of innovation that propel us forward, “Elements” is a celebration of the core forces that shape our experiences in Second Life”.

The lab will be making more SL21B announcements in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned for that.

SL21B Regions Update – Update as of 5th April 2024

As you can see below SL21B preparations have already started a while ago with two SL21B Build regions and four SLB Planning regions. There are nearby SLB regions that will be updated in the weeks ahead and like in previous years the big merge of SL21B regions will happen closer to the actual birthday of Second Life.

Keep checking this area on the map for transformation changes soon. It’s great to see everything take shape and for it all to come together.
