On 15th April 2024 the Bellisseria continent in Second Life will be celebrating it’s 5th annual anniversary since the second generation of Linden Homes were first launched on the grid. I would expect there will be loads of events marking this special occasion.
When the Bellisseria continent first opened to the public back on 15th April 2019 there was only like 384 regions. Today there are thousands of Linden Home regions spread over many themed sub continents connecting up to former continents. Back in late August 2018 the first 80 SSP regions arrived on the grid.
There is a big variety of lovely Linden Home themes to choose from as of today. These Linden Home themes include Traditional Homes, Houseboats, Campers, Victorian homes, Log homes, Stilt homes, Chalets and Fantasy homes. Then Modern homes. Sakura homes, Ranch homes and most recently Mediterranean homes. The Bellisseria continent is still expanding today with more new regions being added monthly.
Fast forward to 2024 and the Bellisseria continent is now super massive. Woooot! 🙂
It’s going to be great to see the Bellisseria continent reaching this big milestone next month. Well done to all the Lindens and the Moles who have worked so hard creating all these Linden home themes. There is a big strong active community today and more Linden Home development is upcoming i’m sure.
It’s been good to track development progress over the past five years and on the Second Life forums. I will be blogging more on the latest new developments in the weeks/months ahead.
