New Chalet Railway Now Under Construction

The Moles have added a brand new railway line over at the Chalet continent where new Linden Homes are being added now. There is now a new underground tunnel from SSPE2214 to Brady Stream which is underwater at the moment.

This looks like fun! šŸ™‚

From what I can tell the new Chalet railway line starts on the west side of the Hydrant region which goes through the central part of the Chalet regions up north towards the Wild Thing region. Just follow the green line on the map or the RR dummy block straight inworld.

Chalet Railway Map as of Tuesday 8th June 2021

  • Green Line: marks the new railway line
  • Blue Lines: new tunnels

Following the new train track eastwards shows where more Chalet homes will be placed in the weeks ahead. These huge squares are marked with Chalet House Parcel 32 X 32 v7.51.

SSPE2175

The train track splits into two parts further east in SSPE2175. There appears to be a new tunnel with some new railway track added which goes underwater. I followed the line eastwards.

The tunnel comes out in Intervale from Bergheim. The railway track stops and continues in the east in Freshwater Camp. The Moles are working on this part of the line and should be finished soon.

Freshwater Camp is the point where it resumes in terms of the new railway track being built now. There is a long part of the new railway tracks in SSPE2211/Muehlenbach. It’s worth exploring this part of the line as it meets more of the Chalet homes and the new bridge.

The railway line ends at Wild Thing at the moment. I think the railway line will continue up north and expand in the far west of the Chalets during the summer months. I will check back within the next month or so to see the latest developments.
