Firestorm Turns 13

On Sunday 3rd September marked Firestorm’s 13th anniversary with a big party, gifts and some great entertainment in Second Life to celebrate the success it’s had during the past 13 years. The Firestorm viewer is still one of the most popular third party viewers out there today with a strong active userbase.

The users and the development team of the Firestorm viewer have made it a huge success with continued support over the years. The support teams, quality assurance and gateway teams have worked so hard behind the scenes to make things run smoothly for everyone.

Over the past 13 years the Firestorm team have released loads of improvements, features, interface customization options and helped thousands of new residents through the gateway, classes and more. Firestorm continues development and support for Windows, Linux and Mac OS x operating systems.

I’m sure there is still more amazing new developments coming in the pipeline for Firestorm viewer and it’s going to be great to see what the next 13 years will bring. I have used the Firestorm viewer for many years and highly recommend everyone to use it.
