The 9th round of LEA Land Grants are now open in Second Life and applications will close on 30th May 2015. The Linden Endowment for the Arts (LEA) promotes the arts of Second Life through a five month land grant. It’s a joint venture between the arts community in Second Life and Linden Lab.
Today you can visit the LEA regions to explore amazing exhibitions, events and be apart of great programs. If you are interested in fill out the form at the end of the 9th round post. See link for more details. 🙂
Round 9 Key Dates
- May 9th – Round 9 applications open
- May 30th – Round 9 applications close
- June 14th – Notifications sent out
- July 1st – Hand over regions to recipients
- December 31st – End of round 9
About LEA
It’s time for the next round of the LEA Artist-in-Residence Land Grants! The LEA Land Grant program seeks to promote and nurture the arts in Second Life, through a five-month land grant to recipients. Recipients can be individuals or groups interested in creating or curating art, or proposing cultural projects which would require/utilise a full-sim build and can be completed within the allotted time frame. The LEA is able to offer land grants through the generosity of Linden Lab.
