The SL21B regions open to the public at 12pm SLT on Friday 21st June 2024 over at the “SLB” regions in Second Life. Final preparations are being made by the Moles/LL to get everything ready for the big grand opening. SL21B celebrations go through until Sunday 21st July 2024 so a whole month this year.

At SL21B there are 310 exhibits spread over 20 regions along with 480 merchants on 24 regions participating in the Shop & Hop annual event. This year there are 77 regions in total for the whole event which is pretty huge this year. There will be over 500+ live performances on stages during the birthday celebrations this year along with more official events from the lab due to be announced very soon.
The SL21B regions have started to merge together now as expected and now you see all the different key areas on the world map. There are General and Adult rated regions this year split into different sections on the map shown below.
The SL21B links will go live on Friday 21st June for SLURLs for Shop & Hop, Destination Guide SL21B category and more. There will be announcements from the lab shortly so stayed tuned for that.

SL21B Key Events via Second Life Birthday Calendar
The key events and live performances start from 20th June through until 1st July 2024. Patch Linden is back and will be at SL21B key gatherings. Philip Linden founder of Second Life is back and Oberwolf Linden the current owner of Linden Lab.
Friday 21st June – Opening Day
- 9am SLT – Shop & Hop Opens
- 10am SLT – Early Access via Birthday Group
- 12pm SLT – SL21B opens officially to the public
- 2pm SLT – SL21B Opening Ceremony – Patch Linden. Coordinators & Moles
- 3pm+ SLT – Live music starts
