LEA in Second Life recently announced round 5 which goes on until 1st January 2014. The LEA Land Grant program seeks to promote the arts in Second Life through a five-month land grant to recipients. The LEA received more than 30 high-quality applications that “represent a diverse range of virtual art” in Second Life. Wow, I can’t wait to visit the new builds in the coming months. 😀
What happens next ?
Artists will have up to four months to build their projects (though many have suggested they will be completed sooner), with all exhibits set to be open by End of November. Many will likely open sooner, though, so keep an eye on this blog for announcements of exhibit openings and related special events.
