The 2020 Home and Garden Expo in Second Life returns on 15th February to 3rd March 2020.
Exhibitors will have access to the region’s to set up their displays from 11th to 13th February. The regions will be open for preview for bloggers on 14th February.
The Home & Garden Expo is an event that seeks to support Relay For Life of Second Life, as well as its exhibitors and guests. Expo exhibitors are required to have two Relay For Life of Second Life 100% donation items at the Expo. These items must be new and exclusive to the Expo for the duration of the event. RFL of SL also benefits via the Gachas, where proceeds are evenly split between the Creator and RFL of SL.
In 2020, for the first time ever, we are also going to include a very small amount of Second Life fashion.
The annual Bay City tree lighting festival and charity auction starts today from 1pm to 4pm SLT at Bay City Fairgrounds over in the North Channel region in Second Life. The event features the tree lighting, live music performances, a skating party and the silent auction.
The live music will be provided by DJ GoSpeed Racer today and there will be many live performers entertaining the crowds.
There will be refreshments and lots of fun. All proceeds go to the Child’s Play Charity which helps seriously ill children around the world and helps for with purchases of games and gaming equipment. As of today at 2.50am SLT the official donation kiosk total reads L$5, 725 for the Child’s Play Charity.
Hair Fair 2019 opened to the public on 17th August in Second Life and the last day for the event will be on 1st September 2019. Hair Fair is an annual event where hair creators from all over Second Life come together. It’s a great place to shop for all of the newest hair styles and trends.
There are six regions to explore with something different in every region. The shopping regions are Noirette, Redhead and Blonde. The cam shopping regions are Foils, Perms and Streaks. All regions are rated General.
Every purchase made at Hair Fair 2019 donates a percentage to Wigs for Kids. Bandana booths and Donation kiosks donate 100%.
