As of Sunday 10th April 2022 all of the Newbrooke regions are now visually showing up on the world map in Second Life which is good news. Almost all of the regions now have a orange square around them while the Moles carry out more checks. From Tutti Frutti along to Boomp are empty at the moment including Thimble Pond Farms and Take Five. Work is due to start in these regions within the next week or so.
Newbrooke sub continent is going to grow out even further in the months ahead as there are many cut offs around the region edges. It’s going to be interesting to see where the next batches of regions will be placed. I will blog about it when that happens.
For those that want a houseboat Linden Home I have just seen that houseboats are now being released on the east side of the Chalet sub continent. More releases will happen very soon. I think good progress is being made and the Moles are working very hard to add new areas with more new Linden Homes.
The Bellisseria continent will reach it’s third year on the grid on 15th April 2022. Yay! 🙂
Newbrooke & Chalet sub continents – 10th April 2022
Bellisseria continent progress check as of 10th April 2022
The north side of the log continent is not finished
Fantasy sub continent coastal areas are not finished
Chalet sub continent work is still on going
Newbrooke sub continent work is still on-going
For the latest discussions check out the Linden Homes section via the Second Life Forums.
During the past 48 hours or so it appears 35 new regions have arrived just north of the Newbrooke sub continent in Second Life. These new regions are in a ghost mode state at the moment and are not currently showing yet on the Second Life World Map if you use Firestorm etc.
There is a workaround though if you use ATC Radar map service where the region names anyway do actually show up. Also using the Second Life Maps (SLURL map service) the new regions show up if you click on them.
SarahKB7 Koskinen first discovered these new regions around 12pm BST on Friday 1st April 2022. It’s important to stress that this is not a April Fools prank or joke as far as I can tell. In the area I highlighted in red is the main location.
If these 35 new regions show on the Second Life World Map in the next few days or so then this is good news for the expansion of the Newbrooke sub continent. The development will start and the release should be soon after that.
On Thursday 3rd March 2022 Patch Linden announced the release of the new Newbrooke Linden Home theme. All of the Newbrooke regions are offered in both 512sqm and 1024sqm sized parcels. The new Newbrooke sub continent is located north west of the Chalet sub continent.
Josie Banks is the main connection region linking the Chalets and Newbrooke sub continents together. The Moles will add more in the days and weeks ahead around here.
Josie Banks Newbrooke homes are live
There are 8 stylish house models (Bradbury, Denver, Ender, Faraday, Gatewood = 512sqm & Aldridge, Coniston, Heaton = 1024sqm) to choose from along with the theme specific content pack available from the house controller. There is a new community region called “Newbank” where everyone can hang out and enjoy the new surroundings. The Newbank community area is actually the Welcome Area build in the central area with new hangout areas around the outside.
Today, we are pleased to release our latest Linden Home theme, Newbrooke!
Our concept of a modern container home community is stylish, warm, and inviting, while being nestled in a contemporary setting of rolling hills peppered with small lakes, ponds, and public pools.
All of the Newbrooke regions are offered in both 1024sqm and 512sqm sized parcels. In total, there are 8 stylish house models to choose from, and the smaller 512sqm parcel homes can also be placed on a 1024sqm parcel, giving you a larger outdoor area. As always, there is a theme-specific content pack available from the house controller, enabling you to match the style and theme with any modifications you wish to do. (Please refer to the covenant rules).
Also for this theme we have a brand new community region, “Newbank,“ for residents to enjoy and hang out with their neighbors.
We hope everyone enjoys the latest additions to the Belliseria continent and community! -Patch, the Moles and the Second Life Land Operations team

As many know already the Newbrooke theme was first previewed back in December 2021 at the SL Christmas Expo. There was issues with it and so the lab took it offline for some time. Over the last few weeks the Moles have been getting things ready for the big release on 3rd March 2022 and it’s great they have now released it.
Stay tuned for more updates on my blog in the coming days and weeks. Please spread the word about the new Newbrooke Linden Theme release.
The Modern regions arrived on 6th February and since then the Moles have been building new roadways, lake areas and new Modern homes it appears. There is one region separating the chalet sub continent with the Modern sub continent in the far south. There are a lot of red squares at the moment and they are all going through many checks in order to get them ready for release very soon.
I predict the Modern regions will be released and open to the public before the end of February 2022 if you go on previous Linden Home release trends. I would expect the region mass will increase over the next few weeks and it’s possible that the work on the coastlines will start before Easter.
Latest New Developments as of 11th February 2022
The Newbank region looks like a new community center area or a shopping complex perhaps
There is a pond lake in the Home Grown region and many bridges in many areas
SSP3504, SSP3505, SSP3509, SSP3510, SSP3514 and SSP3515 regions have been added to the red SSP regions block

Releases Update
On Wednesday 9th February Patch Linden said this on the Second Life Forums “our release schedule isn’t tied to any event, or time/date for that matter at all typically. What matters to us is that when it is done and ready, then it will be released“.
Possible community centre in the Newbank region – 11th February 2022Water lake in Home Grown region – 11th February 2022Six more regions added in the red SSP block – 11th February 2022
I will blog more about further developments in the next week or so. Stay tuned on my blog for that and please subscribe to stay updated. Thanks 🙂
On 7th February 2022 Patch Linden announced event details for the upcoming Valentine’s Love Boat Cruise and Party via the Second Life Forums under the Linden Homes section.
The 2022 romantic valentine’s cruise will start at Campwich Forest starting at 10am SLT on Saturday 12th February 2022. The route goes up north through the nice river areas and then it finishes at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds where there will be a party lasting for roughly four hours until 2pm SLT.
11.30am SLT+ – special live performer followed by live DJs until 2pm SLT
The cruise should last approximately 50 minutes and there are kiosks placed inworld to collect the map of the route along with music streams. It’s actually a good route to follow on both legs to be honest.
As reported this week 49 new Modern Linden Home regions arrived on the grid and now they are all being prepared for the big release happening very soon. This week there has been an increase in Mole/Linden activity happening in various regions and on the red SSP regions on the other side of the grid.
It’s very exciting to see this big development happening now. I can’t wait to see if these group of regions below highlighted will grow further outwards or stay the same size in the weeks ahead. The connection bridge with the Chalet sub continent will take place very soon.
On the north side of the Chalet sub continent there is still more work in the pipeline including new coastlines, new Chalet homes, new hangout areas and hopefully plenty of water region connections with the Modern regions batch.
No dates have been announced yet on the opening or the bridge connection.
The new Modern region names are now visible on the world map when logged into Second Life. Check out all the interesting region names below.
Here is updated overall photo below of the well known and famous Bellisseria continent as of 1pm SLT on Tuesday 8th February 2022. As you can see the start of the Modern regions are already showing up on the map. Yay! 🙂
Stay tuned on my blog for more updates soon and feel free to subscribe on the right hand side. Please spread the word 🙂
Earlier this month I blogged about the newest 12 SSPE regions that have been added in the north east corner of the Fantasy sub continent. Today the Moles are still working on these regions adding more Fantasy Linden Homes, new roadways, new rez zones and new interesting areas to explore. These regions should be finished by the end of February 2022.
I have noticed this week that there are more red squares in multiple regions across the Fantasy sub continent meaning things could be delayed for some time until the issues have been addressed. This is the same with the Chalet sub continent in the far north east where there are loads of red squares.
Now – Fantasy sub continent map as of Friday 28th January 2022
Before – Fantasy sub continent map as of Tuesday 11th January 2022
Start of 2022 on 5th January 2022 where the new SSPE regions arrived to complete the continent
Good progress is being made overall and I think at some point in February most if not all of the Fantasy sub continent hopefully will be finished. I will blog about further developments later next month.
SSP Development Area – January 2022 Update
As of Friday 28th January 2022 there are now 17 red SSP regions compared with six red SSP regions on 15th December 2021. The red theme is highly likely the Modern Linden theme which was announced in early December 2021 at the SL Christmas Expo.
Now – 28th January 2022
Before – 15th December 2021
More updates will be posted on my blog in February 2022.
The Moles have started work this week on adding new Fantasy Linden Homes in the newly added 12 SSPE regions added in the north east corner. Already there are new bridges, pathways, house parcel markers and Fantasy related stuff dotted about. Developments will continue for many more weeks yet but as you can see good progress is being made.
Here is the fantasy sub continent map as of Tuesday 11th January 2022. The new 12 SSPE regions are now clearly visible on the world map now in the north east corner. In many coastal regions work is still happening around the continent.

Chalet Sub Continent January 2022 Update
A whole lot of houseboats have been added on the east side and south side of the Chalet sub continent. I think once these regions are completed in the weeks ahead then work will start on the west and north side of the Chalet sub continent.
Within the past 12 hours or so twelve new SSPE regions (SSPE2772 to SSPE2783) have been added to the Fantasy sub continent in the north east corner. This is exciting news because with these new regions actually completes the Fantasy sub continent coastal ring.
These new regions are completely flat, unterraformed and they may not be visible on the world map for some time. The moles will probably start adding new fantasy homes and road networks etc in the days/weeks ahead.
I would expect new Linden home themes to be placed in a north east direction where there is a lot of blue void on the grid. Maybe clusters or separate regions connecting them up with former Linden home themes. There is still at least another two Linden home themes yet to be officially be announced/released.
I will blog on further new developments very soon. Stay tuned for that.
The Bellisseria continent in Second Life has doubled in size since the start of 2021. The Moles have done a great job this year. At the end of 2020 the Stilt homes area was released in phrases and since then the chalet/fantasy sub continents have been added. At least 300 Linden owned regions have been added so far in 2021 and I think most of them if not all have been relating to the growth of the Bellisseria continent.
I would expect the expansion of the Bellisseria continent will continue for at least another few years at least as more Linden home themes are planned to be released. Maybe another 200 to 500 Linden home regions before the end of 2023.
Linden Home Releases so far from end of 2020….
Stilt Homes – Announced at SL17B (June 2020) – Reveal on 24th June – Start of release (test regions+) – 21st December
Chalet Homes – Announced at SL Christmas Expo (December 2020) – Reveal on 4th December – Released 30th March 2021
Fantasy – Announced at SL18B – Reveal on 17th June 2021 – Released 12th August 2021
Modern – Revealed on 6th December at the SL Christmas Expo 2021 – Release expected early 2022
There are still at least another two Linden Home themes in the works and there could possibly there may be more. Theme 10 I think will be revealed at the 2022 Home & Garden Expo 2022 and Theme 11 reveal may happen at the SL19B celebrations in June 2022. The lab may reveal these earlier or later than this. Who knows.
Here is the progress of the Bellisseria continent during 2021 month by month. I have been looking at the new developments throughout 2021. It’s been great to see it all take shape over the past 12 months or so.
January 2021
The Moles added more railway track and more railway stations on the east side of the log homes continent. New railway stations, rez areas, signal points, Victorian tunnels, bridges, railway line crossings and much more.

March 2021
In early March the lab added a huge batch of Linden Home regions arrived just north east of the Stilt homes area. Back then there was a handful of regions needed to connect up with the Satori continent.
At the end of March the lab connected the Bellisseria continent with the Satori continent in Second Life. The Satori continent already connects with the Blake Sea, Nautilus, Corsica and Gaeta V going north east.
At the end of March the chalet regions were released to the public.
April 2021
On 15th April 2021 marked Bellisseria’s second anniversary in Second Life. When Bellisseria first opened to the public there was only 384 regions to explore back in April 2019.

In early August the Fantasy sub continent regions arrived on the grid. In mid August the Fantasy sub continent opened to the public. On 20th August 2018 the first 80 SSP Linden owned regions batch arrived on the grid in Second Life.
A new water connection was made between the Fantasy sub continent with the south side of the log homes continent. The Moles added new sealife under the water in these connecting regions.
September 2021
The Moles added new areas in the empty spaces during September. There was new batches of regions added east side of the Chalet continent added regularly.
October 2021
West side Fantasy batch of regions arrive on the grid in mid October. The Moles added hundreds of new Fantasy homes around the coastline. The Fantasy continent coastline is almost connected with a handful of regions left to fill on the north east side.
In mid October the Chalet south development work started recently and soon hundred’s of new houseboats will be added along with Chalet/Stilts Linden Homes on the coastal areas.
November 2021
In early November the new Bellisseria Fantasy Community Centre region opened up to the public in Second Life. Everyone should visit and explore this new community centre. It’s incredible from the stairway, piers, the landing spot and views around the region.
The south and eastern coastline expansion work continued through November.
December 2021
The new Modern Linden Home theme revealed at the 2021 SL Christmas Expo. To be released very soon I would expect.
Outlook 2022
It will be interesting to see where the lab will put the new Modern Linden Home theme regions and other upcoming themes. We will have to wait and see. I can’t wait to keep track of 2022 developments and blog about them.
