Here are my newest snapshots below of the 7th annual One Billion Rising event and the Isle of View regions in Second Life for 2019. I enjoyed attending both this week and I recommend everyone to check it out.
Currently BURN2 – I, Robot 2018 is open in Second Life through until Sunday 28th October. BURN2 is still community supported with a ton of interesting events happening every day.
Yesterday I went exploring around the Burning Man regions and I absolutely loved the I, Robot theme. There are robots all over the regions from a variety of sizes to look at for. The builds look incredible again this year.
On June 23rd 2003 Second Life was launched officially by Linden Lab and today Second Life turns 15 years old. Second Life is still one of the best virtual worlds out there today and still going strong.
The party celebrations are still happening over at the SL15B regions with live music around the clock and great exhibitions to see. It’s one of the biggest events on the grid happening now 🙂
Bay City in Second Life hosted its 10th anniversary celebrations on Sunday 20th May 2018 with the annual parade and live concert. There was a really good attendance (over 40+ avs) for this year’s anniversary events throughout the afternoon. It was great to see some familiar faces this year attending.
The parade was excellent this year with many participating in groups. The lag was down this year with no major reports of region crashes during the parade going down Route 66. Many Moles stopped by during the live concert and joined the long conga line. The live performers did a great job this year. The music was awesome! 🙂
I would say this was one of my the top favourite Bay City celebrations yet.
