The New Log Home Continent Opening Pretty Soon

New Log Home Continent Opening Soon

It’s estimated there will be around 4, 000 new log homes becoming available within the next few weeks. The new log home continent is a huge land mass and it’s currently being worked on by the Moles. There will be new community areas, waterways, roads and much more.

A closer look

Latest Updates

  • The regions are closed to the public as of now
  • The continent coastlines have to be completed around the edges & new homes built/new water areas
  • New red squares are dotted around the continent (work in progress)
  • When regions are named the regions are ready to go live
  • There are 10 theme styles the lab are looking at for future Linden homes

On 15th April 2020 it will mark one year since the first Linden Homes were officially opened. Just look how small the Bellisseria continent was back then with only 384 regions.

We now have Traditional, Houseboats, Campers and Victorian homes. Soon there will be Log homes with many more new styles in the distant future. The Bellisseria continent is expected to grow in the months ahead. Very exciting indeed for all those that staying up to date with the latest new developments.

I’m super excited for the release.

The wait is almost over.

New mass of regions added east of of Bellisseria

During the past 24 hours the lab have added roughly 96 new regions east of the Bellisseria continent which are currently closed for public access. It’s believed this new mass could be the new log cabin regions which Linden Lab have been talking about recently.

When you zoom into these new regions there are many cloned groups of regions and most them have been named now. Thousands of new Linden homes will be available very soon.

See below for screenshots that I took today.

These new regions could be released next week or the week after. I’ll post more updates when newer developments happen.

16 new regions added to the new Victorian regions

This week the lab have added 16 new regions to the Victorian regions south east of the Bellisseria continent in Second Life. This new expansion is set to grow even larger in the weeks and months ahead. The Moles are working hard in nearby regions and they are doing a great job.

Many think that Linden Lab strategy for the rest of 2020 is to expand the larger size land masses with each new theme moving eastwards and northwards. Adding in the mini continents (wood region) with squishy pickle and houseboats. Don’t forget more new themes are in the works so it’s going to be pretty interesting to see how it all mixes up.

I will post more updates very soon.

“We are always grateful for our relationship with Linden Lab and are honored to host the Themed Home Reveals,” says Stingray9798 Raymaker, American Cancer Society staff Director in Second Life. “We hope to use this opportunity as a way to educate the residents of Second Life that the American Cancer Society is here to help cancer patients and caregivers from around the world, and to give our Second Life community a means to fight back against a disease that has taken too much.”

This marks the 5th Linden Home theme that will be added to the Bellisseria community, alongside the previous 4 themes: traditional, trailers, houseboats, and Victorian. Residents of Bellisserria are sharing theories with one another in the Bellisserria forum and a queue of avatars has been sighted on the American Cancer Society island.

Please spread the word.
