SL11B press day invites

SL11B press day will be held on Saturday 21st June 2014 for press and bloggers of Second Life. This is a great chance to get a first early sneak preview of the SL11B regions and this year there will be special guided press tours starting at the SL11B welcome area. Press Packs will be given out during the tours of the main attractions/builds of SL11B. The last few years have been very successful and fun. Don’t miss out! 🙂

If you would like the opportunity to preview the SL11B community celebration regions, please fill out the SL11B Press Day form before 12pm on Wednesday 18th June 2014. Those that are attending are welcome to blog, take snapshots and take videos.

2014 Fashion for Life in Second Life opens

FFL AMBLE

Fashion for Life in Second Life is now open and this year there are ten sims to explore featuring great clothing, poses, accessories and much more. This year there are more than 150 designers at this mega event of the year and if you are into fashion in Second Life then please check this out. There are live events, music,

There are more than 150 stores to visit this year and it’s worth pointing out that the regions will remain open until 12am SLT on Friday 20th June 2014. The theme for this year is Wanderlust and this reflects the main Relay For Life of Second Life theme for 2014.

This year every item for sale is a donation item apparently which sounds interesting. “Creators donate 15, 25, 50, 75 or 100% of all sales”. Also “there’s a fun little exploration game. On each sim you can find a souvenir made by the sim builder which you can get by donating 50 lindens to Relay For Life. Collect them all, wearing them with your passport hud and you can redeem your passport for one of over a dozen gifts”.
