Who knows where Rodvik will go next in Second Life during 2014 ?

Rodvik has been very quiet on Twitter since 20th September 2012 and also on the communications side for most of 2013 so I hope we will hear something from Rodvik in 2014.

We miss you, Rodvik!

  1. @ Wizard / I agree 95 % / Lower Tier yes / mesh is still screwy / CHUI is a disaster / People abandoning land is still a problem / and after all these years the official LL SL viewer still has a really horrid UI, it’s no wonder they have a difficult time retaining new customers.

  2. I don’t agree, V3 viewer is by far better then old v1 style!
Cross sims are much more improved!
Rezzing times and many things are really improved,l for those who use SL on a reg base!
Chui is not what a would call a good choice but i’ve being using it successful!
Tiers are not a problem for those who wish to live next to blake sea or on bay city or zindra!
Retaining new customers is as hard as any other virtual world, or you are willing to take the path of learning or better not to be at all!
SL is far far more advanced stil then any other virtual world, is not for dummies, will never be and im glad for that (and I know that many who only think in Sl as a profit tool will
disagree!), at least majority of sl community is a enthusiastic and united one!
Of course, Rod is the mirror of what lacks on Sl most, communication and understanding, from the eye of the company, its user base! But if Sl keeps on the path that is going, soon it will be a stable and enjoyable tool for those who can and wish!
