Six years of blogging about Second Life

Today marks six years since I first started to blog about Second Life back on 18th December 2007 which seems a long time ago now. In six years I have blogged about the biggest SL news stories and popular events on the grid because I love keeping everyone informed on what’s going on. I have enjoyed visiting opensim grids and blogging about the experiences I had.

New blog milestone

My SL blog stats

Other interesting stats I would love to share:

  • 891 views – highest ever for blog post on 6th November 2012
  • 1,772 posts
  • 92 categories
  • 39 tags
  • 389 wordpress blog followers with 3,366 other followers
  • 1, 513 shares

This week my SL blog reached the 260, 000+ hits milestone which is awesome and it won’t be long until it surpasses the big 300, 000 milestone. On average my blog receives between 8, 000 to 11, 000 hits per month. October 2013 was the best month for my blog with a total of 11, 230 hits.

Thanks to everyone that has followed my SL blog, mentioned it and made comments since December 2007.  I will continue to blog for many more years to come because I love Second Life/OpenSim. Stay tuned for 2014 opensim adventures and SL explorations across the grid. Thanks so much for visiting! 🙂
