The World Goth Fair event for 2013 has just opened in Second Life to explore two regions. The event started on Wednesday 15th May and will last until Friday 31st May 2013. All money proceeds will help to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Apparently there will be two weeks of creepy, delicious and fun. There are over 75 SL merchants who are taking part in World Goth Fair 2013 and it’s really worth checking out the goth market. View my snapshots here of the World Goth Fair 2013.
The World Goth Fair is an annual Second Life event, officially sanctioned by the folks at World Goth Day to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. The event runs from May 15th through the 31st and features a massive amount of vendors, musicians and two huge areas to explore.
When I arrived there were more than 40 avatars in the Port Seraphine region and not so many in the WaterWorks region. There is alot to see and do with low lag in the region which was good so far. The sims look amazing and they are really detailed everywhere you look. There is a radio stream playing goth related music. There are many booths around the outside which is worth a visit I think. Donations so far: L$1, 675 and it’s expected the number will rise much higher within the next two weeks.

To mark World Goth Day itself on May 22nd, 2013, and to further raise money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, Club Gothika on Cursed will hold a special musical event, which will run for about 14 hours and include numerous contests with hosts of prizes. All donations received at the event will go directly to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
