Circe Broom remembered at Sunset Jazz Club

Circe Broom a much loved SL resident who was the mother of second life arts, live music and ran the Luxor Egyptian-themed sim for many years sadly passed away on Friday 30th November 2012 in real life. This news of her passing is very sad because I have heard she was one of the biggest driving forces behind live music in SL.

Join us as we celebrate this remarkable friend, patron, and muse in poetry and music.

She is being remembered at Sunset Jazz club on 5th December 2012 between 2pm and 9pm SLT. Circe Broom will be deeply missed by her SL friends and real life family. RIP Circe Broom!

Non-Steam version of Patterns will be released this month?

SL News Alert

On 5th December 2012 on the Rock, Paper, Shotgun website there is a new blog post called A Second Second Life: Patterns Is Sort Of Out which I found interesting. In the comments section there appears to be a comment made by Rod Humble mentioning that there will be a non-steam version coming out this month around the 20th of December 2012 which happens to be my 22nd birthday.

Non steam version coming this month. Probably around the 20th just fyi.

Patterns is due to be released in 2013 on Steam. If this true then its good news to have a non-stream version of Patterns I think. I’ll be interested to know if anyone knows any more info on this comment.  Thanks!
