Much loved SL friends we lost in 2012

During 2012 the SL community lost many well-known residents and friends. They will never be forgotten and the SL happy memories will live on for years to come. It’s very sad and heartbreaking to lose great talent in Second Life. 😦

New episodes 17 & 18 of Flufee on a Meshion 2012

Watch new episodes 17 and 18 of Flufee on a Meshion 2012 below filmed by Draxtor Despres and great crew members of SL. I have to say that this season of Flufee on a Meshion and the last season has been so funny and very entertaining to watch them all in 2012. Great work and i’m excited to watch 2013 episodes. 😀

Episodes 17 – Three Rolaids

Three Rolaids and a cup of coffee: that’s what I’m gonna have for my breakfast. Just to wash down the past……

Episodes 18 –  It Spread

InWorldz Physics rollout due to be completed in early 2013

On the InWorldz Forums there is thread called Physics test region selection/rollout informing everyone on the latest developments with the Physics rollout. There is mention of either a major or complete rollout by new years day apparently by Tranquillity Dexler which is excellent news. The Physics rollout started in early December 2012 with only a selection of regions having the latest Physics version.

Tranquillity Dexler mentions that the rollout continues on Wednesday 26th December 2012 to more volunteer regions and huge clusters of regions. Yay!

I will continue this rollout on December 26th to more volunteer regions and will begin to extend this to entire clusters of regions. We’ve had great results for days now in the latest versions and I think we’re on track for a major or even complete rollout by new years day.

The first week or so of January 2013 will be hopefully the completion of the rollout of Physics I think. It’s really exciting to hear its coming so soon and it will be another big leap forward for InWorldz in 2013.

Linden Lab highlights 2012 and 2013 for Second Life

Linden Lab has posted up a new blog post today looking back at Second Life during 2012 and looking forward to 2013 which is just a few weeks away now. During 2012 the SL official blog has very quiet this year for news SL announcements and other related updates overall. This new blog post by Linden Lab is very interesting indeed to read through and its good that Linden Lab is investing more into Second Life for 2013. Yay!

  • Good Building Practices
  • Revamped Destination Islands
  • New Perks for Premium Subscribers
  • New Direct Delivery
  • Improved HTTP Library

  • CHUI introduced and will be rolled out in 2013
