A new art installation at LEA15 by Gracie Kendal

There is a new interactive and interesting art installation to explore at LEA15 created by Gracie Kendal which is open to the public to see in Second Life. Fuschia Nightfire created a video (2mins – 26secs) of the new installation at LEA15 which looks beautiful and immersive I think.

LEA stands for the Linden Endowment for the Arts which was established to help create a center of arts activity in Second Life.

Check it out today and have fun. 🙂

New Season 2 of Flufee on a Meshion starts

Back in May 2012 I blogged about the end of season 1 of Flufee on a Meshion after 14 brillant SL episodes. The good news is that it’s back and bigger than ever before. The new season 2 of Flufee on a Meshion series starts now after the recent summer break taken by Flufee. Watch all epsiodes of season 1 here in case you missed any. I strongly recommend watching the awesome SL comedy series of Flufee on a Meshion. What do you think of season 1 & 2 so far?

Flufee on a Meshion – Episode 15: Flufee For Resident!

Epsiode 15 info…

It is that time of year again: American voters are asked to pick their president. But never mind real life: Democracy can be messy in the virtual realm as well….and campaigns can be even messier: watch as a certain gaggle of avatars is trying to win over the ever important & elusive [and often cranky] undecided voter! Hilarity ensues? Maybe…if things were not that serious…..

Autumn Fair and Acorn Hunt 2012

Recently added to the Second Life Destination Guide is the new featured event called Autumn Fair and Acorn Hunt 2012. There are more than 40 SL designers showing of their best fashion creations and free goodies around the sim. It’s a really nice sim and I love the autumn theme on the sim. The market carts look amazing and so the hunting begins.

Free gifts, prizes, djs, light shows and more in the Acorn Hunt which is definitely worth doing. Treet.TV will be interviewing Up4 Dawes, the organiser of  Autumn Fair and Acorn Hunt 2012 at 3pm SLT on Friday 28th September 2012. This will be live event at Treet.TV’s studio in SL and on demand via treet.tv webpage.

If you are into SL fashion then this event is for you! 🙂

Poll: SL or Opensim – which do you use more?

Which grid do you use the most – Second Life (e.g. preview grid) or OpenSim grids (e.g. InWorldz) ?

Feel free to list your top favourites in comments and reasons. For me it’s more on the OpenSim side nowadays because it’s gaining on SL in terms of growth and users.
