  1. It is probably worth noting here that OSG5B North is dedicated to mesh builds. So the screenshot here really doesn’t do that region justice, and people who want the full impact of that region should be certain to make use of a non-ancient viewer with the ability to display mesh. Pretty much anything but Imprudence, Hippo, or the official 1.23 at this point.

  2. I would agree with Marcus… the screen shots presented here look nothing like the regions do. Not only are the mesh objects missing… but the draw distance for the snapshot was way too short, producing gray lifeless textures and none of the objects other than some nearby shrubs and welcome banner.

Please compare this image of OSG5B Southwest region:

  3. Aww Daniel! The commenters aren’t wrong in wanting better graphic depictions, but it’s painful to see someone who works as hard as you do to share information and enthusiasm get beat up over your hardware or software.

kk, maybe it was just a sweet slap on the cheek… but anyway… I hope you know how awesome we all find your work. Even if, you know, HAHAHA, you use an ANCIENT viewer to do it!! :))

    1. Oops, I sure didn’t want to give Daniel or anyone else a slap! If I sounded terse, then apologies for sure. I just didn’t want visitors to miss out on a region that has some pretty nifty builds on it.

      1. no worries Marcus! the photo link that the other commenter posted was AMAZING! So I’m glad you guys pointed it out. I was probably just feeling over-sensitive from having my teeth drilled earlier or something… and Daniel does do such an awesome job… hahaha… who knew he was using a “Steampunk” viewer! 😛
