48 Hour Film Project for Machinima 2012


Starting on Friday 30th March 2012 this year’s 48 Hour Film Project for Machinima will be taking place in Second Life which includes 48 hours of intensive movie making from scratch. This is one of the oldest and biggest filmmaking competitions on the grid and it’s been a big success throughout the years. The winning team will receive $3000 and the runner up will receive $500. The best thing is that the winning film will be shown live in Sydney in real life and shown in L.A at the film festival 2013. Registration costs $48 per team. Space is limited, so register today!

  • On Friday, March 30, you’ll get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, and 48 hours time to complete a short movie.
  • By Sunday, April 1, the movie must be complete and uploaded to our48hfp server in California.
