Sneak peak of Kitely Plaza
Today I went to visit the new Kitely Plaza and looked around the official Kitely community center. The Kitely user community are still working on the Kitely Plaza regions. Some parts of the 4 region megaregions are still under construction but the good news is that it’s open to the public.
When you first arrive its worth getting the free (TOUCH ME) Kitely Plaza TP HUD designed by Dennis Albion which is a landmark guide to Kitely places. Stay updated by joining the Kitely Plaza Events group for free . Exploring the four sims is worth doing because of shops and its a nice spot to hangout with friends.
Kitely Plaza Welcome Area

Kitely Plaza HUD looks very neat on the bottom right hand side of the screen to navigate.

Looks great so far and it’s going to be very popular in the coming weeks or months when more visitors hang out here I think.

I do enjoy reading the meeting summaries.
looks well done – i need to explore it! thanks Daniel! =)
It’s a good location and it should be a popular hotspot in the next year or so.
Thanks Ener
Thanks for the positive response. I crowd-sourced a bunch of Second Life olbies that landed in Kitely a few months ago to get this project moving forward. It has been a fun cooperative build. It’s good to see a bunch of jaded olbies can still see hope for the future of the Metaverse!:-)

Interesting to see, you view your content creators as “Second Life olbies” and bunch of “jaded olbies”, after researching your position as coordinator of the Plaza Project, I am sure your high esteem and regard for your content creators and contributors has won you over a great deal of love and respect.
Always remember there is no “I” in team and the “I” in community is an integral working part of the whole.
I am not picking or trying to create drama here, I truly hope you can see the solid reasoning behind my statement.
Thanks bladyblue for your comment.
Next some you should enter on a mesh viewer so you can see the real details inside the buildings.
meant to type next time lol sorry about that. Just saying as one of the builder for Kitely plaza there is some great details in mesh that you will not be able to enjoy with a mesh comparable viewer
Good idea, Sentaul.
I agree the coverage was interesting but I logged in and found some journalistic innacuracies, as the regions layout as per image was somewhat off by theme and there was some mesh items which appeared as planes in the images , so from the boyscout point of view ,be prepared…use recommended viewer for grids which suggest a recommended viewer …nuf said …directions are on the bottom of the boot.
Thank you, Roy.
I went in with Astra viewer yesterday, my first test of it outside Aurora [where it is recommended due to it seeing megaregions properly there] and it worked fine.
Not on Kitelys list but you can now easily configure the grid manager to go in direct rather than thru the worlds website pages.
Very cool and I’ll try to visit in the week.
I think the Team Kitely has has been amazing to work with on this project, I have avatars in most every major simulator online, Kitely has been able to give me, as a creator a platform in which I am able to create the impossible. On any other simulator the build features are simply not there.
As far as our Coordinator goes and her undertaking , she has learned an invaluable amount of things over the past weeks and is always showing creative and interesting improvements. It is a massive undertaking and responsibility and I hope she is never thwarted by posts or remarks but rather uses the criticism constructively, and becomes
an unstoppable Iconic figure in the metaverse.
Exciting future for Kitely.
