InWorldz key moments during 2011 so far

There have been many wonderful and enjoyable moments during 2011 so far for InWorldz. As you can see below in the list there have been interesting milestones in terms of news and events in 2011. I registered on 2nd September 2010 to InWorldz to try out a new user created world and meet new friends. Today InWorldz passed the 48, 000 total users milestone, region count currently is 858 and there’s between 100-300 active users on a daily basis.
This year I have logged in more, attended the big InWorldz events and blogged about it too. The stability, performance and growth is amazing. It’s great to be part of it all. I have been impressed so far with InWorldz and I’m excited to see what comes next in 2012. I do think the InWorldz founders are awesome people.
What have you enjoyed about InWorldz this year ? I would love to know!

Give me a good Neko avatar, a good cat furry, dreadlocks, and African skin…
- And I’ll be there.
I tried to make these things on my own, but scripts were so buggy, my tail just spun in a circle rather than flicker every now and then, and I gave up.
Curiously, more and more quality content makers in SL are putting up ‘this stuff can only be used in SL’ signs, and ‘I -WILL NOT- sell my goods on OS/Inworldz’ – when I would think the smart money would be on setting up shop in other worlds as well.
Friend of mine does a brisk business in Inworlz selling the same stuff she sells in SL.
But sadly, I can’t seem to find the most basic things to give me an avatar I would feel comfortable on, so I’ve largely ignored it.
I find InWorldz a good place to hang out and InWorldz is still in Beta I think. InWorldz has potential and it will continue to amazing.
I think Pussycat, that some people are buying into the paranoia that surrounds other grids, that combined with merchants / designers bad experience with LL when it comes to filing complaints.
Fact is that things gets stolen in InWorldz, Avination, OpenGrid … and Second Life (etc etc). The difference is in how the different companies handle it.
Im not sure about your furry you would have to ask the furries here (IW) about whats here or not. the dreadlocks you can get at EMOtions, African skin Ive seen a few places. I got one planned myself.
Script issues; when did you have them? We have the new script engine and its largely compatible with the LSL, Id talk to the scripters in IW to see if they can give a few pointers I know nada about scripting
One thing about content is that IW has exsisted for 2½ years and its only been about 1½ years since the content creators really moved in. Second life is 10+ years so they will have an upper hand when it comes to content volume. Thats just basic maths (and even I dont suck that bad lol)
Your friend is clever to get in while the world is still young, build your name in a new world. Who is it? IM me in IW or SL with name if you feel better about it
If you venture into IW again your welcome at my regions anyday, come say hi
With one speaking in name of Inworldz here, i can only say, beware!
