Relay For Life raised $371, 670 US dollars for 2011
As of 5am SLT today Relay For Life 2011 have raised $371, 670 US dollars in total which is fantastic news. This sets a new fundraising record for the yearly event of Relay For Life in Second Life. Yay!!!
- The Linden total was $74, 622, 658 which is really impressive. Awesome!

I went around the track and explored many cool areas of the 42 sims this year. I thought this year’s event was amazing and I guess now it’s time to start looking forward to Relay For Life 2012.

I’m proud to have performed dozens of live music shows in support of RFL in SL over the last 4+ years. As I tell my audiences at these events, it’s one of the most “real” things that anyone can do in avatar form… making a difference in someone’s life just by donating a few L$, instead of spending them on pixel-based shoes and so on. The results of this year’s RFL activities shows that most of SL has their priorities in the right place. A lot of people put forth a lot of effort to make these things happen smoothly, so hats off to all of them.
I loved this year’s RFL event in SL.
Well done to everyone that made this happen and a great total result which will please/help alot of people this year.
